Your OBA Pathway

Who Needs the OBA Pathway?

You will be directed to the OBA pathway if AHPRA determines that your nursing education is not substantially equivalent to Australian standards, or you are an IQNM (Internationally Qualified Nurse or Midwife) applying for RN or EN registration in Australia.

Stream B usually leads to the OBA pathway. This applies to nurses from many countries including India, Nepal, Philippines, and more.

Follow these essential steps to begin your nursing career in Australia.

1. Self-Check
